How can you help? Well, how about forming a bowling team to benefit two
local causes? Senior Health is organizing a “just for the fun of it bowling
tournament” fundraiser. The money will be used to expand the East Ocean
View food pantry and to upgrade the Community Center’s computer room so
area children and teens will have a place to do their homework and learn
about today’s technological advances. These projects will certainly improve
the health and wellbeing of our community.
Rally at the Alley
Match yourself against other seniors and come out in full force to help
make Hampton Roads a healthier place to live. Organizing a bowling team
only costs $20 per person and includes shoes and bowling ball rentals,
two lanes of bowling, door prizes and most importantly, a chance to help
others who are in need.
Don’t have a team? Then jump in as an individual and we will put you on
a team. You’ll meet new people, make new friends and have more than a few
laughs. It doesn’t even matter if you’re a new bowler…we have bumper lanes
available for the inexperienced. There is no age limit so bring your children
and grandchildren. They will learn the importance of helping others while
building a memory.
