Spine problems caused excruciating pain for Lillian and Edna. Neither of the two sisters could stand upright, and their back pain kept them from leading normal lives.
"My back hurt, my muscles hurt and my legs tightened up like rubber bands," recalled Lillian Daniels, 76. "I couldn't sleep and I couldn't stay still for more than 10 minutes without pain setting in." Meanwhile, her sister Edna Caine, 72, had five unsuccessful back surgeries that left her back bowed.
"Then we went to the Spine Center at Maryview Medical Center; and now our backs are beautiful!" Lillian exclaims. Thanks to Dr. Mark Kerner and his team at the Maryview Spine Center, Lillian is able to climb stairs and walk around the block again, just one month after surgery. Edna also stands straight and proud.
