Book Review Siege of the Heart
Siege of the Heart We’ve never done a book review before, and perhaps we never will again. Siege of the Heart, however, is a unique book in that it was written by the children of the Director of Senior Health. So here is the very biased review of this newly released book from Genesys Productions.

Siege of the Heart is 100 pages in all and contains 4 short stories: Python the Great, The Favorite Gang, Siege of The Heart, and The Starfire Night. The stories are well developed and full of fun and adventure. The young authors even provide their own illustrations.

Siege of the Heart is a story that contrasts the heart of man and how a good heart can become corrupt if left unguarded. The Favorite Gang reveals how good hearts can be synergistically knit together. Python the Great reveals the trials of the heart and the need to hear the still small voice within to stand strong in times of trouble. In The Starfire Night, a little girl sees her father’s love for her displayed in his simple wisdom.

Each story is full of fun and adventure that the entire family will enjoy. The authors pen a simple truth that carries little of the baggage that comes from adulthood. Most importantly, these are fun and adventurous stories that will be enjoyed by all ages. Read them to your children, grandchildren, or sit down and enjoy them yourself.

The book can be purchased through the Senior Health office and costs $10. A portion of the revenues will be donated to Senior Health for the purchase of a wheelchair lift for our new library.
