The Capitol Hill Club is an action-oriented and results-focused team of people who meet once a month to let their voices be heard in regard to legislative issues that directly affect the health and well-being of the seniors of Hampton Roads. The club is dedicated to ongoing education, training, and legislative action through the building of relationships.
The club has over 70 members (as of July 2006), but we are looking for more people to join us. There is no charge to become a member and our monthly meetings are fun and informative. We hope to have 100 club members come with us to Richmond this year to meet our representatives and let the folks on Capitol Hill know our expectations. If you are interesting in getting involved, please call us at (757) 217-0330.
Remember, your voice can make a difference! So Get Up, Get Out, and Get Involved.
Our next scheduled meetings are:
DePaul: August 23 & October 18, 2007
Maryview: August 14 & October 23, 2007
Mary Immaculate: August 15 & October 17, 2007
Call (757) 217-0330 now to get involved.
