A New Phenomenon Explodes on the Scene

SeniorFest 2007 was a cool hit amidst the poodle skirts, bobby socks, greasers, the sound of the 50’s, and a superb meal. Over 500 cool chicks and Daddy-O’s attended the three luncheons. The dinner tables were beatniked out in Rock ‘n Roll colors of pink and black, and ‘The Doorway Singers,’ who could have been renamed The Doorway Swingers, had us all snapping fingers, clapping hands, tapping feet and dancing to the “way out” sounds of the fabulous fifties.

The SeniorFest health fairs were equally cool, with over 450 seniors turning out to boogie woogie to a healthy beat as Bon Secours service lines supplied free health screenings, dietary provided great snacks, and the exhibitors showcased useful information and products as well as supplying fantastic door prizes.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped us re-live ‘Those Fabulous Fifties’ right here in Hampton Roads.
